Go Aggies!

While Grandma and Grandpa Powell were in town, John and I jumped at the chance for a babysitter, and we took the two boys to the USU Homecoming Football game!  We signed the boys up for Jr. Aggies, so they will get to go to a bunch of games this year, for all of the different sports too!

We all had a good time at the tailgate party, playing games and winning stuff, eating hot dogs and playing in the bounce house.  The boys were even surprised to learn that I (Mom) can hula-hoop well enough to (almost) win a contest!  We made this an outing to remember, splurging on nachos and snow cones!

This game against Weber State was not quite the battle that is fun to see, as the score going into the final quarter was 70 - 0 for the Aggies of course.  But it was still exciting to watch them play, and get into it with the enthusiasm that can only be generated by a crowd of 25,000 people in a a stadium! "And it's another Aggie...1st Down!!"  Go Aggies!

Of course the weather was not the greatest - it started raining at about halftime.  But we were well prepared, and just toughed it out.  It was fun to spend time with just our big boys, making good memories, and letting them know we think they are pretty great!
