In our ward, each year they switch off between the Pinewood Derby, and the Rain Gutter Regatta.
So this year, our boys sanded and painted their boats in preparation the Rain Gutter Regatta.
Our Cub Master had the kids sing Blow, Blow, Blow your boat... and true to form of cubs, they did it at the top of their lungs!
Now the Races! Each boy got to race at least 2 times, and if you were consistently a winner, you got to race a few extra times.
Quin made it to the last round of races, and ended up in the top three! Maybe it's all of that hot air... :)
Both of the boys did a great job with their boats, and the best part... they were good sports!
Looks like a blast! what a fun activity.
