Good old simple fun on Tuesday. We used our imaginations with Sidewalk Chalk Art. Next time we will try a little earlier in the day before it gets too hot! Bet you can guess who some of these pics belong to!
Sprinkler Fun. It got the kids out, and gave mom a little breather... until they decided to bring out the umbrellas and use them as shields. One umbrella didn't survive this kind of play.
Stokes Nature Center and Trail - Dad even got to join us for this one. Found a rope swing as a nice break from the hiking. Even went out for pizza afterwards.
Sewing Learning Badge - Last week was the trip to the fabric store where the kids got to pick their own fabric. This week we learned about sewing machine safety, and got to practice using the machine. Then we had just enough time to start our cutting and pinning before the weekend. Then (on Monday of Week 3) the kids finished sewing their magic pillowcases . They did a good job!
