Our Princess Sophie turned six! Can you believe it?
We had a grand time celebrating. This is our friend party year, so we invited a few old friends, and also invited all her new school friends from Kindergarten. Sophie loves Barbie movies, so we celebrated with a Princess and the Popstar Party.
The girls arrived and we started out by having them design their own princess crowns. They love coloring and creating!
Next we all gathered to watch The Princess and the Popstar. Halfway through we paused the movie and handed out popcorn baggies. The girls got to choose from strawberry or grape Jello popcorn or (blue colored) white chocolate popcorn to munch on while enjoying the show.
After the movie finished, we headed back to the table for the awesome cupcakes I made. Mini Microphones. We sang happy birthday, and they really seemed to love the popstar cupcakes.
Then of course was the present opening time. (Sophie said this was her favorite part). Those girls were so excited to show her what they had picked out for her. Then to fill the last 10 minutes til parents came, they all went downstairs to play a game of four corners with Aunt Jenn!
Everyone seemed to have a grand time. The girls went home with a little princess baggie with a sucker, some pop rocks and a thank you note in it.
We also had a little family party celebration for Sophie.
