John and I had a lovely time and very much enjoyed the time with just us. On Friday night we checked out a restaurant we had never been to before. We loved the Kabuki Japanese Grill. It was really fun to sit at the Hibachi grill and be entertained by our chef as he cooked our food in front of us. I highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful night stay at the Arabian Nights room at the Logan Anniversary Inn. We got to relax and even watched The Hunger Games. The jury is still out on that movie.
Saturday morning we enjoyed a simple in room breakfast they provide, then we went the Logan Temple for a session. Saturday afternoon we headed to Salt Lake..did a little shopping, then went to Mimi's Cafe... a little French New Orleans style restaurant. I highly recommend their Mediterranean Fettuccini! Yum! After dinner we zipped down the street to the Desert Desert Star Playhouse and had a good laugh watching "Les Miserables".
After the play we did a bit more shopping on our way home. It was a wonderful get-away thanks to John's planning and great ideas. Thanks again John for a wonderful 11 years. I am looking forward to many many more!

Really I'm the most awesome person. I run the family, cook all the wonderful laundry for John, do all his meals, mow the dishes(or at least talk about doing it until it rains), do the lawn, clean the food, buy the house, scrub the kids, nourish the floors... wow I do so many things around here so John can go relax at work. John is cool and loves me the absolute mostest!!! But I still love him lots.
