I am so proud of both of you! You have been working hard in scouting. You have earned the highest honor awarded in the Cub Scout Program - The Arrow of Light!
I hope you have learned a lot over the past few years. As a Cub Scout you have been developing a spirit of community service. Remember to keep your promise to "help other people." While you have been having fun and doing things you like to do, you have also learned new things, discovered and mastered new skills, gained self-confidence, and developed strong friendships. I hope you have also learned that you are a useful individual. I hope that you can see your potential now.
I know that you are excited about the new things you will learn as a Boy Scout. The things you are learning will help you throughout your life. I am excited to see your character develop as you grow. You are wonderful boys, and I am so glad you are mine!
