Laughed til I cried!

We joined our friends the Lewis family (at their house this year) for our annual Christmas get together. As usual, we had a nice dinner together and visited and played. We also acted out the Christmas story while someone read it, then ended with a small gift exchange.

The kids acting display of the Christmas story is always entertaining...but this year I laughed so hard that I cried! (Some of those tears may have been from the unsuccessful effort of trying to laugh quietly so they would not be embarrassed.)

This year Zach appointed himself as "Mary" with the help of a long blonde wig and a little yellow bouncy horse.

But as they read the part about Mary and Joseph coming to Bethlehem, and Zachary literally "bounced" in on the donkey, I totally lost it! It didn't help that John reminded me not to cry or snort...Here is a short clip of Zach as "Mary".

Sophie also made a beautiful baby Jesus, and Quin was a wonderful wiseman!
Oh what a fun evening!
